MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE ELSE’S LIFE, AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR OWN LIFEA caregiver brings comfort and happiness. Many of our clients are not capable of completing daily activities that we take for granted; cooking a good meal, taking a short walk, driving to the grocery store. Your assistance with these tasks makes all the difference for those individuals. Caregiving allows continued independence of living at home. You also provide companionship and a link to the community. THE CAREGIVER ROLE A Caregiver has many roles, and will change with each client’s unique needs. As a caregiver you will be working one on one with a client, at that client’s home. We believe it is a privilege to be invited in to the home of another. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to help others are what you need to be a successful caregiver. You may be providing housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, personal care, and chore services. You will also be providing companionship – just by being there to complete the care tasks.
